Esme Arias-Kim performed her competition repertoire during our May 15th MCW Luncheon and then went on to win the Silver Medal at the 2023 Stulberg International String Competition the following weekend! This internationally recognized competition promotes excellence in string instrument performances by gifted artists under the age of twenty. With over a hundred applicants, their panel of judges invite 12 semifinalists to Kalamazoo, Michigan each May for a day-long competition, and select six finalists to perform in the evening to determine three medalists.
