Become a member

Musicians Club of Women welcomes new members on an ongoing basis. As a member, you will belong to a vibrant community of musicians and music lovers in the Chicago area and beyond as we further our mission of promoting women in music. 

MCW's diverse membership includes professional and amateur musicians, music educators, arts administrators, and supporters of the arts, who come together to share both their love for classical music and their passion for supporting women in music. As a member, you’ll have access to our members-only Club Concerts Series and monthly luncheon at the Union League Club of Chicago, as well as smaller salon-style events.

Members are eligible to apply to perform—or have their compositions performed—in MCW's Club Concerts Series and Artists in Recital Series. Members are invited to perform in our Salon Series concerts, intimate salon-style gatherings in members' homes and other small venues. (Note that all MCW concerts take place in the Chicago area.) Members may promote their own performances via the member event calendar on our site and in our monthly newsletter.

Each prospective member must be sponsored by one current MCW member in good standing. If you need a sponsor, please email membershipmcw@gmail.com to request an introduction.

MCW’s Membership Committee and Board of Directors review applications on a rolling basis; membership applicants will be contacted once the application has been reviewed.
